Council leaders on Anglesey and Gwynedd have said they will try to work together to save money. The councils said there was a "willingness" to look at the possibilities in a joint statement. The move at first glance seems to make sense as both councils already share a single education support service. The Local Government Ministry said this type of partnership would have to be extended in order to deliver the "scale of savings that either council will need to make".
