Around half of Welsh SMEs plan to take more employees on board over the next 12 months, a recent news report in the local business media has been able to reveal.
Data from a new HSBC Commercial Banking survey suggests that, out of all the business participating in the survey, 56 per cent expect turnover growth in the next 12 months, with more than a third expecting growth of at least 6 per cent.
Nigel Davis, HSBC's head of business banking in Wales, said: "This survey shows that SMEs (small and medium enterprises) in Wales are confident about growth, with half set to hire full-time staff to help them grow."
